Glebe Biodiversity Project a success!

The recent planting days at the Glebe playing field in Llanfihangel Talyllyn saw many volunteers from the community come together to plant native hedgerow and bulbs and learn about the importance of the biodiversity on the site – a whopping 80 hours of time from volunteers in the planning and time spent planting.
The planting days saw people from all backgrounds come together to support the project and provided opportunities for informal interactions and networking with Community and County Councillors. It was also a great introduction to a new area for newer members of the community who have moved to the area.
Llangors Community Council wishes to give great thanks to previous community councillor, Mike Scruby, for his extensive support in not only getting the project off the ground, but ensuring it is a success, a credit to the local community.
