Llangors Community Council area lies within the Local Planning Authority (LPA) area of both Powys County Council and the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority.
The Community Council is a statutory consultee to all planning applications in its area. In practice that means that the LPA notify and consult the Community Council of a validated planning application. The Community Council aim to visit the site of all planning applications, subject to consent from the applicant or their agent. This enables the plans to be viewed on site. Following a site visit, the Community Council then discuss the application at a public venue as advertised on the meeting agenda. Comments are then returned to the relevant LPA within the consultation period.
Members of the public wishing to submit written comments about planning applications should send them to the relevant LPA within the consultation period.
Planning meeting agenda and minutes are displayed on this website.
